Ken Mitchell -

In 2008 under the Cultural Capitals of Canada Program, writer/director Ken Mitchell worked with local writers and continued his dramatic summer presentation, The Medicine Line. Ken met with school districts, libraries and community associations throughout the district, often engaging participants with cowboy poetry. A workshop in November 2008, on presenting a community pageant, drew 15 participants from a number of rural communities. In December, Ken’s production of A Country Christmas showcased a variety of local performers with music, drama, spoken word, and vintage film footage.
